Many of my clips have been deleted after being left unwatched for an extended period of time. Understandably this is due to the high volume of storage space each video can take up, which begin to add up over time with no good reason for being saved if the creator has no intention of them being used in the future. However I depend on streamable as a long term video storage platform for many of my projects, thus the possibility of them being deleted at any point is problematic. I would like to propose a system in which a limited number of videos a given creator makes can be permanently marked as undeletable, prioritizing them over other posts who care less about posterity. This can be done through a variety of means, but ideally a system in which a given person has a predetermined number of total minutes or hours they can allocate towards videos they wish to permanently have saved. Alternatively, I wouldn't mind a subscription based service which allows more dedicated users to compensate streamable for additional costs for memory storage and giving them immunity to video deletion.
